About the artist

Hi, I'm Selma Isfeld — wife, mother, and self-taught botanical and animal artist from Norway with a deep love for nature, detail, and the beautifully imperfect.

I create hyper-realistic artwork using Polychromos and pastel pencils, with a focus on botanical subjects and animals. I find joy in drawing things as true to life as possible — down to the textures, whiskers, and surfaces.

I'm especially drawn to what stands out — the subtle details that are often missed or left behind. Through my art, I aim to bring both nature and the quiet presence of animals into the home, giving them new life on paper.
