Reserve a Commission Slot for a Realism Pet Portrait
Reserve a commission slot for a custom pet portrait created in pastel or colored pencil.

This reservation secures a place in the commission queue and begins the commission process. The 1,000 NOK reservation fee is applied toward the final artwork price. Please see the Pet Portrait Commission Work page for more information and prices.

Once a slot is reserved, reference images can be submitted and the details of the portrait will be discussed.

Please note: Realism commissions focus on animal portraits, but if you would like a different motif then please send an email to hello@selmaisfeld.com. Each artwork is developed based on reference images and tailored to the chosen medium and format.

Commission Process
A commission begins by reserving a commission slot.

After reserving a slot, reference images are submitted. The subject, size, composition, and any additional details are discussed and agreed upon before work begins.

The 1,000 NOK reservation fee secures a place in the commission queue and is applied toward the final price of the artwork.

Once the portrait is completed, a preview will be sent for approval. After approval, the remaining balance is paid before the artwork is carefully packaged and shipped.

If the finished artwork is declined after the preview, the reservation fee is not refunded, and the artwork may later become available for sale or released as limited edition prints.

What Happens After Reservation
After reserving a slot, you will be contacted to discuss:

• reference images
• artwork size
• composition and details
• timeline for completion

This ensures the portrait is clearly planned before drawing begins.
