Transparency Update: Donations Supporting Animal Welfare

There has been a small practical change in how donations connected to my artwork are handled, and I wanted to explain it clearly.

Why the Donation System Changed

Dyrevernalliansen no longer accepts donations under 100 NOK through their donation page. Because many of the previous contributions were smaller amounts, this created a lot of manual tracking, combining sums, waiting for intervals, and keeping detailed records to reach the minimum threshold. Over time, the administrative work simply became impractical.

Rather than removing donations altogether, I decided to adjust the system.

New Donation Structure

From now on, 3% of all earnings from commissioned pet portraits will be donated to Dyrevernalliansen.
This makes the contribution more meaningful per artwork, easier to track, and more transparent overall.

Each donation will be made in the buyer’s name, and a signed confirmation card will be included with the finished portrait.

Donation Transparency

Every contribution will also be published on the Art for Animal Welfare page.

Buyers may choose to remain anonymous or have their name displayed publicly.
