Colored Pencils
These drawings are created using professional colored pencils on smooth paper, allowing soft layering, subtle color transitions, and highly detailed results.
Pinus Pinaster
Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils My first attempt at realism. This one has a special place in my heart for for being the result of learning about self love. The drawing was created over a total of 14 weeks, and was my sole project after an intense burnout. This artwork is the result of being in a state of pure appreciation for life, and to me that is worth more than the visual result of this piece.
Ink & Markers
Made with professional illustration inks and markers on warm-toned Moleskine paper, chosen for its smooth surface and ability to hold clean, precise lines.
Skewed Shack
Moleskine · Copic · uniPOSCA · Pigma Micron One of my very first copic sketches. There really is beauty everywhere, if you just look at it with the right mindset. Even a worn-down shack full of junk. Look at it as something you've never seen before, and suddenly it becomes this fascinating thing of shapes and colors.
Fascination
Moleskine · Copic · uniPOSCA · Pigma Micron This artwork is the first in a series called Robebots, featuring robots in morning robes. Exactly why and who they are is open for interpretation. I like to think of them as lazy, probably with a smart phone in one of their saggy pockets.
Fungus
Moleskine · Copic · Pigma Micron Fungus is another freehand character open for interpretation. However, I always got the feeling he was like a peaceful forest watcher. Who says the tiny mushrooms around him aren't alive as well? Jumping around him like children? I guess this is why I love this style, because every drawing makes me wonder who these characters could be.
False Shelter
Moleskine · Copic · uniPOSCA · Pigma Micron A modernist house, completely out of reach. Are there even people on this planet? This artwork inspired me to open up for commission work of people's own houses. However you want the house to be illustrated, anything is possible!
Hollow House
Moleskine · Copic · uniPOSCA · Pigma Micron Another seemingly useless structure on top of a giant boulder. Of course there's a ladder utterly useless for those in a hurry. This may not be a romantic home, but it's, well, not functional either. It's epic, and really doesn't need to be anything else. This artwork is exclusively Limited Edition.
Patience
Moleskine · Copic · uniPOSCA · Pigma Micron Very alien looking, especially the fact that it doesn't have a mouth. Whether left out intentionally or not is not important. Very alien looking, especially the fact that it doesn't have a mouth. Whether left out intentionally or not is not important. Probably an artist, functioning on little to no food or water.
Flutterbot
Moleskine · Copic · uniPOSCA · Pigma Micron One of my dearest childhood memories is playing Ratchet & Clank with my brother. I can't say the face on this winged robot is not inspired by Clank.
